Milika Sikaluzwe is a Lecturer in Demography and Monitoring and Evaluation at the University of Zambia, with over five years of experience in research and data analysis. She holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in Population Studies from the University of Zambia. She has contributed to research and M&E assignments for public and private sector organizations, including Save the Children International Zambia, the Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA), United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), and various government line ministries. She has published in highly reputable peer-reviewed journals such as BMC Pregnancy and Childbirth, BMC Women's Health, and BMC Public Health. Her research interests include maternal and child health, contraception and family planning, sexual and reproductive health, and orphans and vulnerable children. Her work focuses extensively on reproductive and adolescent health in Zambia and sub-Saharan Africa, specifically unintended pregnancy, teenage pregnancy, early childbearing, and the timing of sexual debut, using Demographic and Health Survey (DHS) data.
